Our goal is to provide council and government employees with lifelong skills, giving them the courage, confidence and capability to de-escalate aggressive situations and protect themselves. Occupational aggression, be it physical or verbal, has become a global problem across industry sectors. Difficult situations can occur in various settings within a working environment. This can be face-to-face, by telephone or email, and can occur in the office, or during onsite visits/in the field. De-escalation skills ensure staff have the necessary toolkit to protect themselves.
